History
A friend of mine played the banjo and I fell in love with the sound. I started to learn how to play at the age of 55. I bought books and videos to learn how to play the banjo. I soon found out that I had a problem with my picking fingers, commonly known as the "Flyaway Finger."
After extensive research, I found out that this problem is attributed to what they call Muscle Memory. After practicing extensive exercises, I found that this problem could take a life time to fix. I soon realized that I did not have a life time to overcome this problem. Therefore, I have invented a device called "The Banjo FlyAway Finger."
This device has helped me significantly within a short period of time to keep my fingers close to the strings and that it has improved my timing and speed. It has allowed my fingers to create the muscle memory that is needed to play the banjo accurately. I am so satisfied with my results that I have decided to manufacture this device and market it to help other people who have the Flyaway Finger (Muscle Memory) problem.
